The MADRA 5k Doggy Dash will take place on 15th October 2017, in Cappagh Park, Knocknacarra.

Come along and run, jog or walk to support MADRA. The 5k route takes you around the Cappagh Park playing fields and through parts of scenic Barna Woods. The course is flat and fast so is perfect for first timers and also a great PB opportunity for the more seasoned runner.

Feel free to bring your furry friend along. Running/walking duos of owners and their dogs will have their own race starting at 12.30pm. For the comfort of your dog and others around, please ensure that your dog is well socialised and under control at all times. Galway City bye-laws relating to dog control should be adhered to, http://www.galwaycity.ie/dogs-2/dogs#11

Early bird entry of €18 is available until 30th September and will go up to €22 thereafter. The first 100 online entrants will receive a printed running t-shirt to wear on the day. The t-shirts are large-fitting and are available in sizes XS /S /M /L.

All online entrants will receive a sponsorship envelope and are asked to try and raise a minimum of €20 for MADRA. A prize will be awarded to the person who raises the most funds.
