ACTion Teds National Pyjama Party 2018

Event Description

You are invited to join ACTion Ted’s National Pyjama Party once again this year. We are asking you to consider hosting a pyjama party at your childcare facility on any date of your choice, during the months of February or March, to raise much needed funds and awareness for ACT for Meningitis, while having lots of fun! Register today and receive your FREE PARTY PACK including make-and-do TED heads, colouring sheets, balloons, fun pyjama party tips, meningitis awareness cards and certificates for all.

For a suggested donation of €3 per child, children can wear their pyjamas to crèche or pre-school and participate in fun pyjama party themed activities, while raising vital funds for the charity. Meningitis is the largest killer of children under 5 in Ireland. ACT for Meningitis was established in 2011 by Siobhán and Noel Carroll, who in 2008 lost their precious daughter Aoibhe, aged 4, to meningitis. Since losing Aoibhe, Siobhán and Noel feel that there is an urgent need to increase awareness, educate people of the signs and symptoms of meningitis and to offer free support services to all families in Ireland affected by meningitis. ACT for Meningitis are a non-government funded charity and rely totally on fundraising to continue to reach out to new families.

Our vision is to see an Ireland where lives are no longer lost to meningitis, and through our support services no one faces the meningitis journey alone. YOU can help us achieve this..
